CB Microtech LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates ProScope Capture.
Information We Collect
ProScope Capture is designed to work primarily on-device. We do not require account creation.
We may access the following only to provide app features:
- Camera access (to show live preview and capture photos/videos)
- Microphone access (for audio in video recordings, if enabled)
- Photo Library access (to save to or read from your Photos library, when you choose)
- Files/folder access (on macOS, when you choose a save folder)
How We Use Information
We use device permissions and data solely to provide app functionality, including:
- Capturing and saving images/videos
- Loading/saving media to Photos or user-selected local folders
- Enabling measurement and comparison workflows in-app
Data Storage and Sharing
- Media captured in ProScope Capture stays on your device, in your iCloud Photos library, or in folders you select.
- We do not operate a cloud backend for uploading your media.
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Auto-renewable subscriptions are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment details.
Data Retention
Your media and app data remain under your control on your device and in services you choose (such as iCloud Photos).
Children’s Privacy
ProScope Capture is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
You can manage permissions at any time in iOS/macOS Settings, and you can delete media from Photos or your selected folders.
